Ingredients:For the cake pops:
¼ cup butter;
½ cup sugar;
1 tsp vanilla extract;
1 egg;
1 cup flour;
5 tbsps milk;
½ chopped dark chocolate.
For the frosting:
¼ cup butter, softened;
2/3 cup powdered sugar;
1 tbsp milk.
For decorations:
2-3 colors candy melts, melted;
Sugar sprinkles;
chewy candy strips, sliced thinly.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180С/350F. Cover baking pan with parchment.
Mix butter, egg and sugar until pale, add vanilla, milk and flour. When the dough is formed, add chopped chocolate.
Fill prepared baking pan with cookie dough mix and bake for 35 minutes. Let cool down completely then crumble with your hands.
Make a simple frosting by whisking butter, sugar and milk together. Add frosting into the cake crumbs and mix until uniform. Roll small balls out of the cookie mixture.
Chill the cake pops in freezer for 1 hour. Insert a toothpick into each one and dip into candy melts (or any type of melted chocolate). Let the excess drip off and decorate to your preference, adding sprinkles, candies etc.
Make a loop out of chewy candy strips. Dip the base of the loop into melted chocolate and secure it on top of each ball.
