INGREDIENTS:
1 lb pizza dough
8 hot dogs
6 slices of mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 medium onion
Oil for frying
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 375 ° F. Roll out half of pizza dough into a long rectangle. Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into 5 long strips.
Cut your hot dogs by the length, but not all the way trough and put mozzarella sticks in it
Transfer the dough strips to a baking sheet. Fold back every other strip. Place a hot dog on the flat strips, than place the folded strips back over the hot dog, starting a weave pattern. Next, fold back the other strips over the hot dog and place a second hot dog down. Continue to weave all eight dogs into the bread in this fashion.
Cut the onion and fry them in deep oil.
