Watermelon Sherbet: a brilliant idea that will surprise your guests!
published on 27 June, 2017 at 10:54
INGREDIENTS1 small watermelon
70g sugar
1 cup of water
half a lemon
DIRECTIONS
Empty out the watermelon, mash the pulp and add water and sugar to it. Pour the mixture into an ice-tray. You will need about 3 ice trays, or you could use a large casserole dish. If you use a casserole dish, you will have to stir it every hour so that the sherbet does not freeze completely. After freezing for 4 hours, blend the sherbet with some lemon juice and pour it into the hollowed out watermelon.
