How to clean wooden spoons: the simple hack to remove all the dirt
published on 27 January, 2023 at 15:04
Ladles are among the most common kitchen accessories, as they are involved in different meal preparations.
They can be made of different materials, but wooden ones are a little bit difficult to clean.
Actually, simply washing the wooden spoons isn't enough. Dirt and food residue often collect on them and stay there, even if it doesn't look like it.
So let's see how to deeply clean and sanitize them.
You'll need:
Water
Baking soda
Directions:
1. The easiest way is soaking them, after washing them, in hot water.
2. If the dirt is persistent put some water in a sauce pan.
3. Add baking soda (about 2 tsps) and boil.
4. Soak the wooden spoons in this mixture and you'll see dirt come off from them.
5. After that rinse with a lot of running water.
