Fried bread baskets: delicious and easy to make!

Fragrant and delicious, perfect to fill with your favorite ingredients!

INGREDIENTS
 1 ⅔ cup flour;
 ½ tsp salt;
 10 g (0.35 oz) fresh yeast;
 ⅔ cup warm milk;
 2 tbsp butter, melted;
 1 egg;
 Cherry jam, powdered sugar;
 Cherry tomatoes, balsamic glaze; chopped basil.
 
METHOD
  1.  Mix flour with salt, make a well in the center add dry yeast, some sugar and pour warm milk over. Set aside for the yeast to activate.
  2.  Pour melted butter and an egg in. Mix everything and knead until smooth dough forms. Cover and set aside for an hour or until doubled in size.
  3.  Divide the dough into 6 pieces and stretch each piece out as shown in the video.
  4.  Fry each fritter in preheated oil for 2-3 minutes per side.
  5.  You can fill sweet fritters with cherry jam and top with powdered sugar, or you can make savory options with chopped tomatoes, basil and balsamic glaze.
