Arabian pancakes: so delicious and simply delightful served with honey or syrup!

This recipe for pancakes makes the most perfect soft and fluffy pancakes.
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
250 g (1/2 pound) all-purpose flour;
250 g (1/2 pound) cornflour;
½ tbsp dry yeast;
½ tbsp honey;
390 ml (13 oz) warm water.
METHOD
- In a large bowl whisk flour with yeast and salt. Add honey and water, then use a fork or a hand mixer to make a soft and sticky dough.
- Work the dough for around 5-6 minutes, then cover and set aside for an hour or until doubled in size.
- Oil your palms and divide the dough into 5-6 portions, form each into a ball. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and add some vegetable oil in. Spread each portion of the dough, one after another, to form a pancake. Cook each pancake for around 3 minutes on each side or until golden and puffy.
- Serve right away with some honey or maple syrup.
