published on 10 April, 2018 at 11:24
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups flour;
1 egg;
1 cup sugar;
½ cup butter, room temperature;
½ cup chocolate chips;
1 cup dark chocolate, melted.
1 egg;
1 cup sugar;
½ cup butter, room temperature;
½ cup chocolate chips;
1 cup dark chocolate, melted.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 160C/320F.
Cover a small heat-proof bowl with aluminum foil and brush it with vegetable oil.
Make a cookie dough by mixing soft butter with sugar until smooth. Add one egg and mix again.
Add ½ cup flour into the dough and combine everything with a spatula or whisk. Add chocolate chips, stir again.
Then start gradually adding leftover flour making a smooth cookie dough that you can knead with your hands. Cover and let sit in fridge for 30 minutes.
Using pieces of pastry, cover the bowl with dough, making sure that the layer of dough is as smooth and even as possible.
Cut off any excess dough and bake cookie bowl for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool down for about half an hour and remove foil covered bowl.
Cover the insides of the cookie bowl with melted chocolate and let it set in freezer completely.
Serve filled with ice cream and any fruits and berries of choice.
