Pizza braid: quick, easy and tasty!

INGRIDIENTS

1 puff pastry
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup of shraded mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp basil
12 pepperoni slices
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tbsp dried oregano



PREPARATION

1. Preheat the oven to 425 ° F / 220 ° C
2. Lay out puff pastry. Spread tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and basil in the center of the dough. Cut diagonal lines along the left and right side of the cheese and pepperoni about a inch apart. Remove the corner pieces. Starting from the top, fold down the flap then alternate right and left until the bottom. Fold the bottom flap and finish alternating between right and left.
3. Place the braided puff pastry on a parchment paper lined baking tray, brush it with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano.
4. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
