TOMATO SALAD: the cold dish for summer!

INGREDIENTS
6–7 ripe salad tomatoes (e.g., vine or "ramati" tomatoes)
2 cloves of garlic
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Oregano
Basil
Pepper
METHOD
1. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges. Place them in a large bowl.
2. Season with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, basil, and a pinch of oregano. Cover and let rest for about 30 minutes to allow the tomatoes to release their juices.
