Sandwich bread bombs are quite easy to prepare. With just a few simple ingredients, and in just a few minutes, you can make an appetizing dish that is sure to please everyone.INGREDIENTS FOR 5 BOMBS
5 slices of sandwich bread
5 small mozzarella balls
100g ham
1 egg
50g breadcrumbs
50g flour
DIRECTIONS
Roll-out the slice of bread using a rolling pin, place the ham and mozzarella on it. Helping yourself with a sheet of plastic wrap, roll the slice of bread into a ball. Refrigerate the bombs for at least one hour.
Once chilled, roll the balls in flour, then in the egg wash and finally in the breadcrumbs. You can either fry the bombs in a pan or you can bake them at 180°C for about 15 minutes. No one will be able to resist these cheese filled delights.
TIP
We suggest you refrigerate the mozzarella balls for a few hours so that the excess liquid from the mozzarella dries up a bit. This helps reduce the loss of liquid while they cook.
