Venezuelan AREPAS: how to make them at home in A FEW STEPS

INGREDIENTS
420ml (1 3/4 cups) of water
A pinch of salt
15g (1 tbsp) of vegetable oil
330g (2 1/4 cups) of corn flour
Vegetable oil for frying
METHOD
1. In a mixing bowl add the water, salt, and oil and stir to dissolve the salt. Add the flour gradually and mix with the hand. When dough starts to form knead it with your hands to obtain compact dough.
2. Obtain the dough balls by taking a portion of the dough with your hands (around 95 grams each) and pressing them with the hand to form a disc shape.
3. Pour the vegetable oil into the pan and transfer the buns. Cook them on both sides until they start to brown.
4. Serve them all together on a serving dish.
