Puff pastry savory pies: a delicious appetizer ready in a few steps

INGREDIENTS
15g (2 tbsp) of flour
15ml (1 tbsp) of extra virgin olive oil
150ml (1/2 cup) of milk
Salt
Nutmeg
Pepper
2 rolls of puff pastry
1 beaten egg
50g of tomato pulp
30g of mozzarella
METHOD
1. In a saucepan add the flour, extra virgin olive oil, and milk and mix to obtain bechamel sauce with no lumps. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Remove from the heat.
2. Unroll the puff pastry on the cutting board. With a 10-12 cm diameter pastry ring, cut discs. Brush the discs with the beaten egg.
3. Cover each disc of puff pastry with another one. Add the spoonful of bechamel and tomato pulp, and diced mozzarella.
4. Brush the edges of the discs and close each disc with another cut disc. Brush each one with the beaten egg.
5. Transfer them to the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 25 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
