Creamy millefeuille: creamy and very quick to prepare!

A delicious dessert ready in no time!

INGREDIENTS
3 sheets of puff pastry;
5 egg yolks;
620 ml (2 ½ cups) milk;
100 g (½ cup) sugar;
60 g (½ cup) all-purpose flour;
50 g (½ cup) chocolate chips;
powdered sugar for dusting.
METHOD
  1. Roll out 3 puff pastry sheets slightly and poke with a fork all over.
  2. Bake for 13 minutes at 180C/350F then dust with powdered sugar and poke with a fork again. Bake for 5 minutes and set aside to cool down.
  3. Whisk egg yolks with sugar until pale, add flour and whisk to combine. Pour hot milk in slowly, while still whisking.
  4. Transfer the pastry cream to a stove, medium-low heat for around 10 minutes or until thick. Leave to cool down completely. Mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Layer pastry cream between puff pastry base and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
