ITALIAN TRIFLE: the fantastic Italian recipe, COLORFUL and DELICIOUS! 🤩

INGREDIENTS
3 eggs
100g (1/2 cup) sugar
60g (1/2 cup) flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
6 egg yolks
200g (1 cup) sugar
5 tbsp cornstarch
Vanilla seeds (1/2 vanilla pod)
750ml (3 cups) milk
100ml (2/5 cup) water
40g (1/4 cup) sugar
250ml (1 cup) alchermes
80g chocolate
Cocoa powder
METHOD
1. Mix eggs with sugar in a bowl, and sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix well with a spatula and transfer to the baking pan. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 30 minutes.
2. In another bowl, mix egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch. Carefully mix with hot milk and cook on low heat until it starts thickening. Divide into two portions, and mix in chocolate in the second one. Cover and let it cool.
3. Mix alchermes with sugar syrup.
4. The pan starts with the first layer of sponge cake dipped into the alchermes mixture. Top with white cream mixture, then repeat with sponge cake and top with dark cream mixture. Then repeat with sponge cake and white cream mixture.
5. Refrigerate overnight and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
