Butter and jam cookies: they are so good that you would eat them one after the other!

INGREDIENTS

For filling:
220g of ground nuts
55g (1/4 cup) of sugar
60g of jam
For dough:
410g (3 1/2 cups) of flour
3g (1/4 tbsp) of baking powder
A pinch of salt
4g (1 tsp) of vanilla sugar
55g (1/4 cup) of sugar
110g (1/2 cup) of butter
160g (3/4 cup) of yogurt
1 egg

Honey + water for brushing
METHOD
1. In a bowl with ground nuts add the sugar and jam and mix with a spatula. Knead it with your hands to combine well.
2. Cut into 8 equal pieces and form the balls. Press them with your hands to obtain a round shape.
3. In a bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla sugar, sugar, butter, yogurt, and egg and mix. When dough starts to form knead it with your hands to obtain compact dough.
4. Split the dough into 16 equal pieces and form the balls. Roll out the ball and place the prepared filling layer. Close with another disc and make the decoration with ice tongs.
5. Transfer them to the baking tray covered with parchment paper. Bake in oven at 180Β°C/360Β°F for 25 minutes.
6. Brush cookies with honey and water mix and serve them on a serving dish.
