Swedish meatballs: how to make them creamy and tasty!

INGREDIENTS
for 4 people
370g of ground beef
120g of ground pork meat
1 onion
1 egg
75g of breadcrumbs
150g of whole milk
Salt to taste
White pepper to taste
A knob of butter or a drizzle of oil
A pinch of Pi
(Alternatively, you can add nutmeg, or implement it to the Plan)
For the gravy sauce
15g of butter
15 of flour 00
400/440gr of beef broth
(or half beef and half vegetables)
40g of liquid cream
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Optional to season with:
A drop of soy sauce
Apple juice
Cranberry jam or blackcurrant
One teaspoon of mustard
For the cranberry jam
250g of frozen cranberries
80g of sugar
40g of water
METHOD
1. Mix in a bowl the breadcrumbs, eggs and milk then let stand for 10 minutes.
2. Chop an onion and fry with a knob of butter or a little oil.
3. Add it to the mixture together with the salt, pepper, sugar (and/or nutmeg) and minced pork and beef.
4. Mix everything well and make meatballs.
5. Place them in a baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake at 180°C/356°F for about 20 minutes.
6. Make the gravy sauce by melting butter in the pan, when it is melted add the flour and mix well.
7. Add the beef stock together with the cream and bring to a boil for about 5 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
8. Add the cooked meatballs and cook 2 more minutes, then they will be ready!
9. Serve with mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes seasoned with a pinch of salt and dill along with cranberry jam.
