Caramelized puff pastry apples: an original and delicious dessert to make in the oven

INGREDIENTS
4 apples
Butter
Cinnamon
30g of light brown sugar
2 rolls of puff pastry

For decoration:
Vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream

METHOD
1. Cut the top part of the apple and then remove the inner part.
2. In a pan add the butter and the inner part of the apple. Add the cinnamon and light sugar and cook for a few minutes. Remove from the heat.
3. Unroll the puff pastry on a cutting board and cut the big circles. Place the apple in the middle of the circle and cut it into strips.
4. Close the strips to cover the whole apple. Fill the apple with the prepared caramelized apples.
5. Transfer the apples to the baking tray covered with parchment paper. Bake in oven at 180°C/360°F for 20 minutes.
6. Serve the apples all together and decorate with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
