Banana upside down cake: the result will leave you speechless!

INGREDIENTS
For the batter:
3 bananas (ripe)
140g (1/2 cup) of yogurt
2 eggs
200g (1 cup) of sugar
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
240g (2 cups) of all-purpose flour
16g (1 tbsp) of baking powder
150g (3/4 cup) of butter (melted)
For the caramel:
160g (3/4 cup) of sugar
30ml (2 tbsp) of water
For the bottom part:
4 bananas
METHOD
1. To prepare the batter add the banana pieces to the mixing bowl and smash them with the fork. Add the yogurt, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract and mix. Sift the flour and baking powder and continue mixing. Finally, add the melted butter and mix to obtain no lumps mixture.
2. In a saucepan add the sugar and water and cook to obtain caramel.
3. Cut the bananas lengthwise and arrange them on the baking tray covered with parchment paper.
4. Pour the caramel over the bananas and pour the prepared mixture. Level it up with a spatula.
5. Transfer to the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 35 minutes.
6. Transfer the banana cake to the cutting board and flip it. Cut it into slices and serve.
