Microwave chocolate cake: quick and super yummy

INGREDIENTS

1 orange (zest);

150g (1 cup) all-purpose flour;

100g (½ cup) sugar;

60g (⅔ cup) cocoa powder;

10g (2 tsp) baking powder;

90g (⅓ cup) butter, melted;

370ml (1 ½ cup) hot water;

30ml (2 tbsp) orange juice;

150g (1 cup) chocolate chips;

150ml (½ cup + 2 tbsp) full-fat cream.

METHOD

In a large bowl whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, and orange zest.
Pour in melted butter, hot water, and orange juice. Whisk until smooth batter forms.
Pour the batter into a 16cm round silicone pan and microwave for around 6 minutes at 400W. Check with a toothpick.
Mix chocolate chips with cream and microwave for a minute, whisk until smooth ganache forms.
Flip the cooked cake onto a plate and top with ganache and an orange slice.
