Sponge cake with cream and sour cherries: a mouthwatering dessert to try

Ingredients:
Batter + meringue:
6 yolks
100 g sugar
160 g soft butter
80 ml of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
160 g flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
6 egg whites
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
250 g sugar
Crumbled walnuts (optional)
Cream:
250 g mascarpone
100 ml condensed milk
300 ml whipping cream
Sour cherries
Directions:
1. Dough: beat the egg yolks with sugar, butter, milk, vanilla extract, flour and baking powder. Pour and spread the mixture into a rectangular pan.
2. Meringue: whip the egg whites with salt, lemon juice and sugar. Transfer the mixture into a pastry bag and place it on the cake layer.
3. Bake at 170 ° -180 ° for 30-40 minutes.
4. Cream: whip the mascarpone with milk, cream and form a frothy mixture.
5. Assemble the cake by adding the black cherries.
