Potato balls: a simple appetizer that everyone will love

INGREDIENTS
For the balls:
3 medium potatoes, peeled
a pinch of salt
60g (4 tbsp) cornstarch
For the sauce:
60 g (¼ cup) butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
15 g (1 tbsp) all-purpose flour
250 ml (1 cup) milk
a pinch of salt
½ tsp paprika
40g (¼ cup) mozzarella cheese
2 slices cheese
METHOD
1. For the potato, balls shred potatoes using mandoline or any other slicer, that can help make potato strips.
2. Season thinly sliced potatoes with salt and mix cornstarch in. Set aside for 30 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, make the dipping sauce by melting some butter in a small skillet and sauteing garlic in it for 30 seconds. Sprinkle flour on top, mix well and pour milk. Season with salt and pepper, bring to a boil, then add both types of cheese.
4. For the potato, balls take a small portion of the potato mixture and squeeze as much moisture as you can. For a ball.
5. Fry potato balls in preheated vegetable oil until golden. Serve with dipping sauce.
