published on 24 February, 2023 at 13:30
INGREDIENTS
230g (1 3/4 cups) of all-purpose flour
8g (1/2 tbsp) of baking powder
160g (3/4 cup) of sugar
4g (1 tsp) of vanillin
A pinch of salt
110g (1/2 cup) of butter
1 egg
150g (1 cup) of chocolate chips
METHOD
1. In a mixing bowl, sift the flour and baking powder. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, butter, and egg, and start kneading with your fingertips.
2. Work on everything until you get a smooth dough. Add the chocolate chips to the dough and continue kneading to incorporate well. Wrap the dough in cling film and transfer to the fridge for 30 minutes.
3. After time has elapsed unwrap the dough and transfer it to the working surface. Cut into the pieces, form small balls, and make the teardrop shape.
4. Transfer the cookies to the baking tray covered with parchment paper and add a few chocolate chips on top of the cookies. Transfer the baking tray to the fridge for 90 minutes.
5. After 90 minutes remove the tray from the fridge and transfer it to the oven. Bake the cookies at 180Β°C/360Β°F for 15 minutes.
6. Let them cool after baking and serve.
