Pumpkin fries: the secret to making them crunchy like french fries!

A delicious side dish that the whole family will love!

INGREDIENTS
100g (⅔ cup) breadcrumbs;
25g (4 tbsp) parmesan cheese;
1 tsp paprika;
1 tsp dry thyme;
¼ tsp nutmeg;
Salt and pepper;
1 medium pumpkin or butternut squash 
Olive oil to coat.
METHOD
  1. Peel and cut the pumpkin into fries.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs with paprika, parmesan, thyme, and nutmeg.
  3. Mix pumpkin with some olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dredge pumpkin fries in breadcrumb mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes at 200°C/400°F.
