Cherry cake: crunchy outside and creamy inside!

If you love cherries, this cake is a must-try!
INGREDIENTS

300g (2 3/8 cups) flour
100g (1/2 cup) powdered sugar
1 tbsp semolina
1 tbsp starch
100g (1/2 cup) sour cream
150g butter
1 tsp baking powder
2 egg whites
150g sugar
150g sour cream
200g сherries
Powdered sugar
METHOD
- In a bowl mix together flour with powdered sugar, semolina, starch, sour cream, butter and baking powder.
- Put the dough into the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into the circle and put the cherries on top also in the circle and cover the cherries with the edges of the dough.
- Beat well egg whites with sugar and sour cream and pour it onto the cake, top with cherries and bake at 170’C ( 340’F) for 35 minutes.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
