Potato skewers: fried or baked, they are extremely delicious!

A fun appetizer to try right now!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
750g potatoes, peeled and chopped;
1 tsp dry thyme;
1 tsp chili flakes;
110g (½ cup) cornstarch;
15g (¼ cup) parsley, chopped;
100g (½ cup) cheese, shredded;
30ml (2 tbsp) olive oil;
1 tsp paprika.
METHOD
- Boil potatoes in salted water until soft.
- Mash potatoes and combine with thyme, chili, cornstarch, parsley and cheese.
- For the baked version: pipe out potato mixture using a pastry bag onto a parchment-covered baking sheet. Whisk paprika and olive oil and brush on top. Bake for 25 minutes.
- For the fried version: pipe out potato mixture using pastry bag right into preheated oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes, until golden.
