Italian fried zeppole: the delicious fritters to try right now

Ingredients:
Custard:
120 gr of egg yolks
250 grams of granulated sugar
80 gr of corn starch
500 ml of fresh milk
1 vanilla bean
Batter:
125 gr of butter
60 ml of water
60 ml of fresh milk
1/4 teaspoon of salt
130 gr of flour 00
4 eggs (220 g)
Directions:
1. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar.
2. Then add the starch and mix well.
3. Heat the milk with the vanilla bean.
4. Add the egg yolks to the milk, let it thicken and let it cool.
5. Dough: in a saucepan melt the butter with water, milk and salt. Add the flour and mix until everything comes off the pan.
6. Add the eggs and form the zeppole.
7. Fry in hot oil.
8. Stuff and serve the zeppole.
