Custard Cream Filled Donuts: how to make them extra fluffy and tasty

If you love donuts, you must try this simple recipe to make them fresh anytime you wish!
 
INGREDIENTS
 3 egg yolks;
 80g (⅓ cup) sugar;
 80ml (⅓ cup) cream;
 240 ml (1 cup) milk;
 2 tbsp cornstarch;
 30g (2 tbsp) butter;
 1 tsp vanilla sugar;
 1 egg;
 50g (¼ cup) sugar;
 360ml (1 ½ cup) milk;
 380g (3 cups) flour;
 2 tbsp baking powder;
 ½ tsp salt;
 30g (¼ cup) powdered milk;
 40ml (3 tbsp) vegetable oil.
 
METHOD
  1.  Whisk egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, cream, milk and starch. Cook over the low heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Whisk in cold butter, cover and set aside to cool down completely.
  2.  Whisk egg with sugar, milk and oil. Add dry ingredients (flour, milk and baking powder) in. Knead to make a smooth and sticky dough.
  3.  Turn the dough onto a floured surface, add more flour on top and roll out to 2.5 cm (1 inch) thick.
  4.  Cut out the donuts using a round cookie cutter. Fry for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5.  Leave the donuts to cool down on a paper towel covered plate. Make a slit in the center all the way through and fill it with pastry cream.
  6.  Dust cream bombs with powdered sugar before serving.
