How to make a delicious catalan cream in a jar!

INGREDIENTS
4 yolks
120 g sugar
25 g corn starch
500 ml milk
Cinnamon stick
Vanilla pod
Brown sugar to decorate.

METHOD
- Mix some of the milk with corn starch and mix.
- Pour milk into a pan, heat. Add a cinnamon stick and a vanilla pod by cutting it in half. Let cook and remove it from the flame before it boils. Remove the cinnamon and vanilla.
- Separate the yolks from 4 eggs. Pour the eggs into a pan, add sugar, milk and whisk well. Add to the warm milk and mix again over low heat until it begins to thicken. Let cool.
- Sprinkle over brown sugar and bake at 200ºC for 7 minutes to caramelize the sugar.
