Fried dough balls with hazelnut cream: a perfect breakfast treat!

So fluffy and delicious, rich of hazelnut cream! You won't be able to stop at one!

INGREDIENTS
• Flour 1 kg
• Potatoes 2
• Fresh Yeast 1 cube
• olive oil 2 tbsp.
• Milk
• salt
• Oil for frying
• Hazelnut cream
• powdered sugar
 
METHOD
  1. Boil potatoes, peel and grate finely.
  2. Sift flour into a bowl and add salt. Add potatoes, yeast, butter and mix with milk.
  3. Knead the dough. At this point, let rise for 1 hour.
  4. After an hour, knead the dough again with your hands upwards and let it rest again for another hour.
  5. Now, in a large saucepan, heat a lot of oil and a spoon dipped in water, cut off the mass of small pieces, giving them the shape of balls, and then fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
  6. Place them on a plate covered with kitchen paper to soak up excess oil, and tamp them.
  7. Serve a lot of balls, decorate with hazelnut cream and powdered icing sugar.
