Egg bread (gyeran bbang): fluffy and yummy, here's how to make it at home!

Korean egg bread (gyeran bbang) is filled with hard boiled egg in each bread, making it perfect for breakfast!

INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp butter, melted;
3 tbsp sugar;
a pinch of salt;
1 tsp baking powder;
Β½ cup flour;
Β½ cup milk;
4 eggs;
3 slices cheese.

METHOD
Preheat oven to 200 C/400F.
Make the batter by whisking flour with salt, sugar and baking powder first and then adding liquids: milk, melted butter and one egg.
Whisk until the batter is smooth but do not overwork it.
Grease 3 small rectangular baking pans (about 4 by 2 inches). Fill each pan with batter 2/3 way up.
Place sliced cheese on the sides and beat one egg in the middle of the pan.
Bake for 13 minutes and serve warm.
