Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe: a great and tasty classic

Ingredients:
2 large skinless & boneless chicken breasts, butterflied
Dijon mustard, as needed
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Ground Himalayan sea salt, to taste
4 thin slices Black Forest Ham
4-6 thin slices Jarlsberg, or as needed
2 tbsp. unbleached all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
1 large free-run egg, beaten
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp. Herbes de Provence
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp. canola oil, or more if needed
Directions:
Spread the chicken breast and fill it with mustard, pepper, salt, ham and cheese. Roll and pass into eggs and breadcrumbs, then cook in a pan for about 5 minutes and then bake at 350°F (180°) for 40 minutes.
