Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 cups warm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 cups warm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting:
1 1/2 cups butter softened
8 oz cream cheese softened
1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
7-8 cups powdered sugar
about 1/4 cup milk as needed

1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
7-8 cups powdered sugar
about 1/4 cup milk as needed

Directions:
Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a mixer. Add eggs, buttermilk, warm water, oil, and vanilla. Divide batter among the three pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting:
In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese. Add in cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Beat in powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add milk as necessary to make a spreadable consistency. Frost with your favorite frosting.
