Bear omelet:
Ingredients:
1 tbsp sesame oil;
2 garlic cloves, minced;
3 tbsp soy sauce;
2 cups cooked rice;
2 eggs;
salt to taste;
1 tbsp water;
cheese, seaweed for decoration.
1 tbsp sesame oil;
2 garlic cloves, minced;
3 tbsp soy sauce;
2 cups cooked rice;
2 eggs;
salt to taste;
1 tbsp water;
cheese, seaweed for decoration.
Instructions
Heat sesame oil and use it to sauté minced garlic for about a minute. Pour soy sauce in and cook for 1 more minute.
Pour garlic-soy mixture into cooked rice and stir to combine.
Beat 2 eggs with a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of water. Cook an omelet over the low heat for 3-4 minutes. Flip onto a cutting board and cut a small strip from the side. Roll the strip to make a «cushion» for the bear and use leftover as a «blanket».
With your wet hands make a bear’s body: one large oval for the body, one smaller for the head, 4 little ones for arms and legs, and two small balls for the ears.
Cut two strips of seaweed and one small triangle for eyes and nose, and one cheese round for the nose only.
Lay the «body» on a wide plate, put the «head» on the pillow, add arms, legs and ears, make a bear’s face with seaweed and cheese. Cover with a blanket.
