Upside down apple pie: a unique dessert ready in a few steps!

INGREDIENTS
1 Egg
125g (½ cup) Butter
200g (1 cup) Sugar
10g (2 tsp) Vanilla sugar
300g (2 cups) Flour
5g (1 tsp) Baking powder
50ml (3 tbsp) Cold water
8 Apples
 
Caramel:
75g (1/3 cup) Butter
200g (1 cup) Sugar
 
Decoration:
Walnuts
 
METHOD
  1. In a bowl put the butter, add egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and mix it. Add flour and mix. Knead the dough and add some water. Continue kneading until the dough is soft. Cover it to rest.
  2. Peel and cut the apples into halves.
  3. In a pan put the butter and add sugar, mix it and cook for a while. In the baking pan add apples. Bake until the apples are soft. Spread the dough and put it on top of the apples. Bake at 180C for 25 minutes.
  4. Flip the cake and remove the pan. Decorate with some chopped walnuts. Serve.
