Strange stains on the watermelon, he rinses it but look what happens

This watermelon has clearly something wrong: indeed it has marks on the surface that look like mold, and, once washed away, seem to disappear. But in a few seconds, the stains return, bigger than before. This is probably a process of internal decomposition: in other words, it is as if the watermelon was rotting from the inside, producing carbon dioxide which condenses into a strange compact foam once it reaches the outside of the fruit.
