Sweet and sour peppers: a delicious side dish

Ingredients:
1 kg of peppers
1 liter of water
1/2 liter of white wine vinegar
1/2 glass of olive oil
salt
80 gr of brown sugar

Preparation:
Cut the peppers (you can use those you prefer) then pour in a pot the water, vinegar, oil, salt and brown sugar. Put on the heat and bring to a boil, add the peppers and cook for 10 minutes. Then fill the mason jars (sterilized) with the peppers and the sauce. Close and invert the jars by covering them with a kitchen towel. Leave to cool and store in a dry place.
