Savory swirl buns: a recipe that will amaze you

Ingredients for the dough:
200g all-purpose flour
180g butter
2 eggs
50ml milk
12g fresh yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Ingredients for the stuffing:
500g tomato puree
fresh basil to taste
1 clove garlic
extra virgin olive oil to taste
Salt to taste
200g mozzarella
oregano to taste

200g mozzarella
oregano to taste
Dissolve the fresh yeast in the milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Pour into a container the flour, a teaspoon of salt and butter, work everything with a fork crushing the butter. When the mixture becomes sandy add the yeast we had previously melted, add the eggs and mix first helping with the fork and then with the hands. Cover the dough with the plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 h in the fridge.
For the filling, put the oil in a pan, add the unpeeled garlic (to be removed later), add the tomato puree, the basil and finally the salt. Cook for 5-10 minutes so that the sauce cools and then let it cool. Take the dough from the fridge and roll it out to form a rectangular dough with the help of a rolling pin. Spread a not too thick layer of tomato puree, add the mozzarella and oregano. Roll the dough tightly and place in the oven at 180°C (360°F) for 20 minutes.
After cooking, serve the swirl buns.
