Chocolate Christmas Trees
published on 7 December, 2017 at 15:21
Ingredients:3 chocolate bars.
100g White Chocolate.
75g Butter (at room temperature).
½ Tsp Green Food Colouring..
Christmas Themed Sprinkles.
Sugar Paste.
Desiccated Coconut.
Instructions:
Place the white chocolate, butter and food colouring in a double boiler and melt stirring to form a green chocolate paste.
Cut out two triangles from each kitkat bar and make a trunk from the left overs.
Place the melted chocolate into a piping bag with a small nozzle and ‘glue’ the trunk on with the paste. Flipping the trunk upside down gives the perfect angle to match the slope of the kitkat.
Drizzle over the remaining chocolate paste and stick on the sprinkles.
Allow to cool completely.
Use sugar paste to make the trees stand up and sprinkle with coconut to create a Christmas scene.
