Apple rose pie: a delicate and aromatic fall dessert!

Crunchy shortcrust topped with soft and delicious custard: the result is spectacular!INGREDIENTS
for the shortcrust:
350g flour
120g butter
130g powdered sugar
1 egg
a pinch of salt
vanilla extract
300g custard
3 apples
DIRECTIONS
1. Slice the apples into thin slices. Place them in a bowl and squeeze out the juice of one lemon over them, add some cinnamon, brown sugar and let them sit in this mixture for 10 minutes.
2. Place the shortcrust in a 24 cm pie dish. Fill it with the custard cream and place the apple slices all around to form one large rose.
3. Bake the pie at 180°C for 35 minutes or until golden brown
4. Brush the top of the pie with some apricot jam and serve warm.
