Apple cinnamon roll casserole

Ingredients:
premade cinnamon rolls;
4 apples, peeled and chopped;
3 tbsp cornstarch;
2/3 cup sugar;
1 tsp ground cinnamon;
1 tsp ground nutmeg;
1 egg.

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180 C (350 F). Cover the bottom of 20 cm (8-inch) round pan with parchment, grease with a little bit of vegetable oil.
Roll out cinnamon rolls flat and cover the bottom of prepared baking pan with them. Spread evenly with your fingers.
Mix chopped apples with sugar, spices and cornstarch until all pieces are covered. Layer half of the apple filling on top of cinnamon roll base, add more cinnamon rolls on top, then leftover apple filling and finally cover with a layer of cinnamon rolls.
Brush the top of the casserole with beaten egg. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Serve warm with a ball of vanilla ice-cream and caramel sauce.
