Baked Hasselback Apple Sundaes: simple and tasty

Ingredients:
3 Large Honeycrisp Apples
Cinnamon
Granulated (or brown) sugar
Flour
Butter
Vanilla Ice Cream
Caramel Drizzle
Apple Glaze:
2 Tbsp. Melted Butter
1 Tsp. Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
Crumb Topping:
2 Tbsp. Flour
1 Tsp. Sugar
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
Preparation:
Peel 3 apples, slice each one in half, peel any remaining skin. Core the apple halves using a spoon and slice each apple. Melt 2 tbs butter. Mix in 1 teaspoon sugar and 1\2 teaspoon cinnamon. Spoon mixture onto each apple, spread with hands or a brush. Bale at 350° on foil lined sheet, about 20 minutes. While they bake, make the crumb topping: 2 tbsp softened butter, 2 tbsp flour, 1tsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon. Mix with hands and squeeze together. Add 1 tbsp flour to get crumb texture. Remove apples from oven, press crumb mixture to tops of apples. Return to oven for about 10 more minutes. Turn oven up to broil for another 3 minutes. Remove from the oven. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle.
