Monza-style pasta with sausage, cream and saffron

Ingredients:
Serves 4:
320g pasta
200g  sausage
200ml heavy cream
2 sachets saffron
1 shallot
Thyme and Salt to taste
White wine
Extra virgin olive oil
 
Directions:
Brown the shallot and then add the sausage. Gradually stir and chop. Meanwhile, cook the pasta. Add the white wine and add thyme and salt. Then pour in the cream and mix, then add the saffron. Before cooking (2 minutes before), bronwn the pasta in the pan.
