Grandma’s no-bake cake: summer version of the Italian dessert

Ingredients:
250 gr cookies
100 gr butter
Ingredients for custard:
4 egg yolks
120 gr caster sugar
40 grams cornstarch
500 ml milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

250 gr mascarpone cheese
150 ml whipped cream
Pine nuts
Directions:
Custard: mix eggs and sugar then bring the milk, starch and vanilla to a boil. Add the two compounds and mix until a thick cream is obtained.
Blend the cookies and mix them with melted butter, spread on the baking tray's bottom. Put in the refrigerator.
Mix the custard with mascarpone and then add the whipped cream. Pour on the cookies, cover with pine nuts and let it cool.
