House plants are getting more and more popular. NASA analyzed the characteristics of the various plants, establishing that the Golden Pothos is the most beneficial to clean indoor air. It eliminates three of the toxic elements in the atmosphere, which can be a serious issue for our health, first of all formaldehyde, one of the most widespread indoor pollutants, declared carcinogenic. Another element is xylene that would cause sudden headaches, and benzene, another carcinogen, very harmful if inhaled in large quantities.
It must be in direct contact with the sun's rays and receive water once a week.
